  1. Incoming / Outgoing Lines.  Calls will arrive and depart on these buttons.  Press one of them to answer (or just pickup the phone) or place a call.

    • Park a call in one of the parking spaces. This allows the call to be picked up on another extension. (Hold only allows the call to be picked up on your extension).

    • When you park a call, the system will tell you what space it was parked in. Dial the parking space number to pick up a call again. The light on the button will turn red when a call is in the parking lot.

    • Set the phone system to open or closed mode. In open mode calls are routed to the phones, in closed, the calls go to voicemail. The light is red if the space is closed.

    • Page all extensions and the shop loudspeakers. Press the button to initiate a page. Wait for the beep and start talking!

    • Swap pages. Press to toggle between pages one and two.

    • Press the Open button to toggle the current state of the phone system. You will hear a recording of the new state.

    • The button will light red if the space is closed, and green if the space is open.

  4. Unlike older phone systems, calls on hold can't be picked up on another extension.  To let another extension pickup a call, the call needs to be parked.

    • To park a call, press the button next to "Park" on page one. The system will read back the number the call is parked on.

    • Any other extension can dial the parked call's number to pickup the call.

    • The parking spaces on page two can also be used to pickup a parked call.

    • The Park button will be red if a call is parked there, or green if no calls are parked.
