Introduction
This guide will give the basic knowledge of the parts and gas system purging of the jewelers torches within the Lansing Makers Network.

Unwrap the torch hose from the rack and place it in a secure position

Open regulator valve counter-clockwise completely until there is no resistance.

Remove torch tip if present. Wrench is located with the other torch tips.

Open tank valve all the way open.

Turn regulator valve clockwise slowly until the left (hose pressure) gauge begins to move.

Adjust regulator until the inner red ring is at the desired pressure. (see Appendix A)

Open the corresponding valve on the torch (counter-clockwise) for ten seconds then fully close the valve (clockwise).

If the torch you are using has two adjustable regulators, repeat the steps for the other hose on the torch.

Turn the tank regulator knob (clockwise) until fully open.

Open corresponding torch valve (counter-clockwise) for ten seconds, then close the valve (clockwise).
