Needles are sharp and these machines can go very fast. Keep fingers clear of the needle, and when a needle is dull, bent, broken, or breaks your skin place it in the sharps disposal container.

Bobbin winders on the machines should be used to maintain proper winding tension. Don't wind bobbins by hand.

Load bobbin into bobbin case and click it into place.

Use the dials to adjust stitch length and upper tension

The bobbin case tension should not need adjustment frequently, if you find that the tension is wrong no matter what you do on the top, turn the screw on the outside of the case in very small increments until when you hold the thread, it falls about an inch after being gently bounced up an inch
