Take token from guest and leave in the bowl at front desk

Please discourage the guest from keeping the token. We use these to track where they were found and how many keychains were made

However, they can keep it if they really want. Please write down in the work log how many people made keychains and where they found them

One keychain per person

If someone comes in without a token, they can still make a kychain
-
Invite the guest(s) to join mailing list

Have guest read and sign the liability waiver

Grab the following from the cupboard: keyring, woodcut keychain, template

grab safety glasses and head to the laser room!

If laser is occupied, give tour and invite guest back another time for the keychain

open "Keychain" on desktop

Have guest add name, date, or whatever they'd like

Adjust the settings to match in the step picture

Click send and save as "keychain"

place the template on the machine bed
-
make sure template is square in the bed
-
set the origin to where indicated on the template
-
put a magnet down to make sure the template doesn't move

Put keychain into template as seen in the step thumbnail

open "keychain" at the laser cutter
-
Press "frame" to make sure it's going to etch the correct area
-
close lid! Make sure all switches are on
-
hit start, and marvel!

Guest receives keychain and ring
-
There is protective masking tape to be peeled off the side they just etched

Please put template back into cupboard where you found it
