02 - Affixing Material

Jog the gantry to the rear of the machine to allow room to clear and affix your material.

Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move the gantry forward/back and left/right.

Use the Page Up / Page Down keys to jog the head up and down.

Press the "TAB" key on the keyboard to open the jog flyout to adjust jog speed or jog using the mouse/touchscreen.

If you park the head at the rear of the machine when done using it, other users won't have to power the machine to affix their material.

Check for raised spot or debris on the bed. Use a scraper to remove them.

Screws being driven into the spoilboard tend to raise a "burr" around the hole when removed.

These raised areas can cause your part to not sit fully on the bed.

Secure your material to the bed of the machine using clamps or screws.
